One of my favorite klance tropes is earnest!Keith. Like, Lance is the one who does all the romantic stuff and buys flowers and takes Keith to candlelight dinners and holds heartwarming speeches… meanwhile Keith is just heart-wrenchingly honest in the most unexpected situations. He doesn’t even realize what he’s doing or how cheesy it sounds:

Lance: “Is that another flower? Are you gonna give me flowers every day now?”

Keith: “You were complaining that you’re the only one who ever buys them.”

Lance: “I already have 3 vases full! Is this a competition? How long will you keep bringing some?”

Keith: “Until you stop smiling at them.”
