When you hold out your arm in the shower and the water runs off your fingertips

I feel like these two would continue their vigilante ways when political life got too strict. I never watched ATLA as a kid so I only recently watched the series and fell in love with these two- I love how they’re thematic opposites but so similar. Anyway this was a LOT of fun to make!
Hotheaded Prince Zuko in Book 3 with his dramatic outbursts and that one time he was emo.
They lounged in a ceremonial hall that they were using to sit and drink in. Both Suki and Aang brushed away Katara’s anxious questions, admitting that Kyoshi had always been a pragmatic Avatar.
“’s fine.” Suki slurred as she leaned over to pour more mead into Katara’s cup. When she noticed her own speech impairment, she paused mid-pour and Katara lurched forward to bend the errant stream into her cup.
“It’s fine.” Suki repeated, enunciating clearly. Pleased with herself, Suki resumed pouring into Katara’s cup, making it overflow. Katara sighed and idly swirled her hand around, dumping the extra mead into Aang’s cup.
They were reclining on mats, with the obvious pairs sitting together while Zuko and Toph kept to themselves. Zuko had arrived in Kyoshi without Mai, and no one asked. Toph had arrived alone as well, and she had regaled them over dinner with how her latest paramour had been cast off.
As the drinking continued into the evening, they had moved from the dining hall and into long building they now occupied. Sokka laid on the floor, resting his head in Zuko’s lap. To his credit, Zuko didn’t look perturbed by this intrusion into his personal space, but he did seem to ignore Sokka’s pleading for Zuko to braid his hair.
