@mad-hatterqueen (sorry, dear, tumblr won’t le me tag you) and I were messaging about fics and I figured I’d give her a list of a few of my favorite zutara fics that inspired me to write some of my own.

Each Other by jennibare - Rated M- In a world where Ozai wins, the Avatar is dead, their families are gone, all Katara and Zuko have is each other. Living in the South Pole they create a life together until they are forced back to the Fire Nation.

Katara has traveled with confidence, but now she can’t help but feel lost. She leaves Aang, and the place they had once called home. She sets out on her own to return to the Fire Nation in hopes of healing all that she can. She will find many things on her journey alone, but will she finally find a place she can call home? - It’s not completed yet. But maybe one day? Maybe? @ladybuhg No pressure. :)
