Okay. So.

I wanted to start off by saying that I am extremely happy that @thespace-dragon decided to continue ‘From the ruins we shall rise’.

When I saw the update I immediately clicked on the chapter even though it was more of an update on the current situation of the fic.

I’ve started reading it when - I think- 3 chapters were out or something like that?? And well I fell in love with it.

It is not rushed. It is incredibly interesting. The characters are being explained in such a natural and realistic way due to their own past, insecurities and hopes. Also the story of these countries being post and maybe even pre-war is absolutely thrilling.

Another brilliant concept is the bond between dragon and human - I love to find out more about the different kinds of dragons and how deep this bond actually goes with every new chapter.

ALSO (yeah I can’t stop) the ships?? Haven’t even really been shown yet?? Which makes it so much more like a novel than a fan fiction because the author really tries to do MORE. Not only give us relationships but also a fascinating story with so much potential and an amazing writing-style.

Plus @thesearchingastronaut provides this story with awesome art which is the only reason I could even make fanart of it.

It’s been a year since my last drawing for this AU. And looking back at it now I still love this story.

Even if updates might take some time because the author just doesn’t always have time for it.

Even if it might take really long for this story to come to an end some day.

I just wanna say Thank you for gving it your best and wanting to finish it.

(this might be waaaay too much for like… A thank you but eh that’s what I felt qhen I saw the update.

Also sorry if Keith isn’t completely accurate I had to improvise on some parts of his armor. )
