first fic for the ml fandom i hope its okay. This last ep got me thinking more about Lukanette. 

  Luka doesn’t know why it took him so long to put the pieces together. He’s always considered himself to be pretty smart, picking up on social cues and his friends emotions without a second thought. His grade point average was pretty high and his teachers were always trying to get him to tutor after school. His dedication to his band and songwriting always kept him busy, though.

  He’s only met Ladybug twice.

  He doesn’t know why he didn’t put the pieces together sooner.

  The first time was on his mother’s boat, helping Marinette escape before his akumatized mother found them. As soon as Marinette was gone, Ladybug was there. He was so worried for his friends and his mother he didn’t think that there was no way Marinette found Ladybug that fast. It would’ve made more sense for her to be hiding somewhere on the boat, waiting for help.

  The second time was after he was akumatized. He was so upset that Marinette’s costume design was getting copied. He could care less about his music, he would always be able to write more and better songs, but Marinette was so upset. It just wasn’t fair. Luka doesn’t remember anything from being akumatized, but when Ladybug and Cat Noir finally got his akuma, Ladybug was so close to him.

  He knows those eyes. He would know those eyes anywhere.

My thing with Lukanette is that I love it, but I dont want it to be endgame, my heart longs for the love square, I want them to grow with each other but also grow apart as individuals. So I’m still pretty much an Adrienette shipper, but at the moment I want Adrien to grow, to develop, to deserve Marinette. And I want Marinette to grow out of Adrien’s crush and get to know him better and be friends get with other people until they are right for each other. Ya feel?

I’m happy that Luca didn’t pressure Marinette to give him an answer, however I wonder what she would have said or if she will give her response in the future, or maybe everything will be as normal as always

When I first watched the episode on TV and the last scene came….God damn it, the writers are really trying hard to make people fall for him.
