I love the idea of Marinette forgetting she’s not in costume and losing all sense of personal space with Chat Noir. Like, she’s supposed to be a civilian who Doesn’t Know Him but she nudges him in the ribs with her elbow and pulls his tail and climbs all over him and pushes him away when he makes her laugh

and Adrien has no idea what the heck is happening but he likes it so he just rolls with it

Miraculous ladybug interview spoilers! 🚨

So Feri, an ambassador for miraculous ladybug, recently did an interview with Fandom, a miraculous ladybug channel on youtube, and she gave very interesting information about what’s to come in the show. There’s no big spoilers but it’s still very intriguing. So I roughly translated the most interesting parts of the interview for the non-spanish speakers. Get ready!

- There are 3 female characters that she’s really looking forward to see but they’ll only appear in season 4. (The 3 are not connected)

- Luka and Kagami were introduced for a reason and they’ll obviously come back. They’ll appear in many more episodes and some of the episodes will be centered around them (kinda like Luka in Captain Hardrock). And sometimes they’ll just be in the background.

- Nathaniel’s role in Reverser will bring mixed reactions from the fans.

- More about Luka and Kagami: They were introduced to bring change, because it would be boring if Marinette was always pining for Adrien and Adrien after ladybug. Luka and Kagami will help our main characters to grow and they’ll cause some emotional/physical conflicts too. They’ll be like supporting characters, they’ll encourage Marinette and Adrien.

Then she talked about the difference between season 1 and 2 and how in season 2 the characters have more depth and we get to see different aspects of their personalities. For example, Marinette getting angry and almost getting akumatized in Zombizou and Chat noir getting mad at Ladybug in Glaciator.

- In season 3, there are many references to season 2. All the season 3 episodes that she read had a reference to season 2. And one of them has a reference to the famous Glaciator episode (OMG)

She also talked about the different storylines and how important they are.

- Marinette getting trained by Master fu

- Adrien, his dad and what happened to his mom.

- How did 14 year old Master fu destroy the temple and who gave him the miraculouses.

- “Obviously, Marinette and Adrien are gonna end up together. But their path is gonna be filled with obstacles, so that they can grow. First, they need to accept each other with their flaws…why do you think Luka and Kagami are there? The compass going crazy and the bubbly background in Riposte when Adrien sees Kagami are all part of it. No no don’t worry, the love square will still be there, but there will be obstacles and things that the love square fans won’t necessarily like. But Adrien and Marinette have to go through that to be able to grow. I mean, Marinette still has pictures of Adrien all over her walls, yes she knows his qualities, but she puts him on a pedestal. So first, she has to learn about who he really is and love him for that, with all his flaws and family issues.”

- “Now (in season 2), Adrien is learning about who Marinette really is (Gorizilla, Troublemaker, etc.). But we haven’t really seen Marinette learn more about Adrien. For her, he’s still a saint and he can’t do anything wrong, but we obviously know that he has flaws and that he can get mad, etc. It’s gonna take some time, there’s gonna be ship wars and debates but trust me, in the end, everything will be fine and it will all make sense.” (MY HEART)

She also mentioned that we’ll learn more about Emilie by the end of season 2 or early season 3 and we’ll probably see how her and Gabriel met.

And she also said that the Battle of the Queens episodes aren’t the only ones in which we’ll learn more about Chloe.

Yeah so that’s pretty much it, I tried to be as accurate as possible because I don’t wanna give you guys false information. And feri is a very reliable source so I trust her very much.

What do you guys think about all of this? Tbh it made me really excited and I can’t wait to see the story unfold and the characters growth. WE ARE NOT READY GUYS!

Just me rambling but, I kind of want Luka to end up a bad guy. Not because “hes an obstacle to the love square” but because so far he has been painted as a nice guy with no faults. Good guy actually bad guy is one of my favorite tropes SO I THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE INTERESTING plus his design would be cool for a villain.

Ofc tho we’ve only had him in one episode so far so there’s a lot of his personality unexplored. BUT STILL!

Kagami is different cause her episode explored both her insecurities and her good But Luka is so far just a perfect kind musician HMMMMM miraculous ladybug text post
