Okay, cool, calm, I’m good. I’m good…. not!

Okay, let’s talk about this trailer. 

• First of all, the “There were dragons when I was a boy” monologue. Ouch! My heart! The little montage from HTTYD 1 to HTTYD 2 then we saw Hiccup with a beard and looking more like a Viking chief which was my initial hope he would look like in this movie. Toothless was behind. It makes me think that we’ll see a flashforward after the events of The Hidden World. Maybe we’ll hopefully see Hiccup and Astrid married with kids. 
  
• Berk looks WAY too crowded. Vikings and Dragons living together is great until you bring every dragon you ever encounter back home and realize your home is a small island. Hiccup, you didn’t consider that? Poor Gobber. Which makes me think, where is Valka?
• So I think that this Hidden World is like Valka’s dragon sanctuary minus the ice. This Hidden World is beautiful! I was wrong about the snow, it was actually sand. It reminds me of a rain forest. 
• The Light Fury blew a fire blast then disappeared into it?! Is that her way of being a “Night” Fury?!
• Hiccup trying to help Toothless flirt and Toothless messing up is hilarious. The Light Fury was having none of that. I feel bad for Toothless.
• The people of Berk seemingly relocating because of Grimmel? Damn, that sucks. At least they appear cool with it. 
• Hiccup’s flight suit definitely got an upgrade!
• Dragon riders versus Grimmel’s fleet… Interesting.
• Again, I like that Grimmel is a bulky villain. I have a feeling he’s going to match Hiccup intellectually as well. 
• The Light Fury saves Toothless. How sweet. 
• That shot with Toothless gathering up some lightning power there. He didn’t seem to have his saddle on. 
• I have a feeling that there’s going to be a bigger twist in this film that this trailer is skillfully hiding from us. Remember the “Hiccup, I am your mother” reveal in the HTTYD 2 trailer and we all got mad about that then BOOM! Stoick dies and no one thought that would’ve happened.
