Headcanon about Astrid wearing her hair down

Okay, so things we know:

1. Hiccstrid still isn’t married
2. They’re getting teased about this (Annecy film fest clip)
3. Astrid is also bringing up hey when is that maybe gonna happen (Annecy film fest clip)
4. Wearing your hair down was pretty much exclusively an unmarried Viking woman thing to do

CONCLUSION: Astrid is tired of Hiccup dragging his feet on the marriage thing, so she’s wearing her kransen. She’s wearing her hair in the most maidenly way possible, so she’s basically running around like “Oh, look at my hair, all down and flowing and MAIDENLY. GOSH GEE WIZ LOOK HOW UNMARRIED I AM. SO VERY, VERY UNMARRIED. SO VERY, VERY, PAINFULLY UNMARRIED I AM. HINT EFFING HINT.”

TL;DR: Astrid is doing the viking equivalent of sending her boyfriend links to engagement rings.
