Miraculous Reanimate Collab Information!

THERE ARE LESS THAN 2 DAYS LEFT TO SIGN UP!

That’s right everyone, sign ups close at the end of August 31st (tomorrow!) Here’s some quick information for those who don’t know what’s going on:

1. We’re gathering a group of artists together to recreate the Miraculous Ladybug episode Dark Cupid!

2. After you sign up, the deadline to hand in your work is February 2, 2019.

3. All still shots and end credit illustrations have been assigned, but there are still PLENTY of animated shots still open!

Random Marinette Appreciation

(Small spoilers for Catalyst)

At the end of Catalyst Part 1, I know we were all excited to see all the heroes together bantering. DJWifi was super cute the way they wanted to protect one another, Chloe confidently revving up to take down Hawkmoth was cool, and Chat being cheeky betting how many villains they would each take down was funny.

But Ladybug isn’t joining in the banter. She has her eyes completely trained on Hawkmoth and his new army of villains, silent. Her mind is miles ahead, thinking of a plan, and strategies to take them all down. I just- loved her so much in this moment. She truly deserves the mantle of being the leader of the group. She’s the one who holds them all together as a team, the one who connects them all in harmony to take on the role of heroes and emerge victorious. It was so badass to see her, the only one completely serious in defeating the villains, narrowing her eyes at him, not saying a word. You can tell she has a completely different aura from the other heroes, and why she is looked up to by so many people.

When Marinette steps up, she steps up.
