interface, I chose a fighting game. I’m not actually making a fighting
game, my coding skills are poop.

“Princess,” he says against her skin, leaving a trail of heat as his nose slides back up to her ear. “You are playing with fire.” He presses a kiss to the space behind her ear and she can’t help it when she sighs with pleasure. After all those weeks of almost no physical contact, this is an overstimulation of her senses. It almost makes her want to scream.
“I’m not a princess anymore,” she says. Even though her blood is still the same, she doesn’t know if she’ll ever have her throne back. She’s not entirely sure she wants it for herself.
He breathes unsteadily against her neck, leaning in closer to nose at her throat. His hair brushes her cheek and she swallows hard as the heat in her body burns lower, and warmer. Her blood turns to wine, thick and sweet and slow. Her breathes become just a little ragged as his chest brushes against her shoulder.
“What are you, then?” he asks in a voice that is suddenly dark and rich as velvet.
She can scarcely breathe. “I’m just Nessa.”
“Nessa,” he says and her heart skips a beat, “can I touch you?”
“Yes,” she says immediately, leaning back finally into the long, lean lines of him. “You may.”
