In Catalyst, it’s shown that Adrien knows about Plagg’s cataclysm and that he knows that it’s very, very destructive. He also only really wears one outfit, even at photo shoots.

Hypothesis: Plagg cataclysmed all of Adrien’s clothes except for the one outfit
