Remember that post where someone asked if we will see marinette and adrien as a couple?
Everyone thought of course they will end up together already in season 3.
That’s when we got Oblivio.
He said that hawkmoth will gat a new ally.
We thought it will be chloe but we got lila back.
Someone asked if we will see a grown up ladybug and Chat Noir.
We got the episode of timetagger. (Yes it is a timebreaker gif but THE CLOCK WAS IMPORTANT AND WE ALL NOW KNOW WHY OMG)
We wanted new heroes?
We got bunnix. And in the intro, alix had the bunny stuff in her face. (Means..the others would become the heroes we think they will be ?)

-Origins happens and Marinette tries to let Nino be ladybug, but things happened and the battle goes the same.
-Alya noticing how down Adrien is about the whole thing with Marinette. -Alya’s influence caused Adrien to confront Chloé about her meanness. -Marinette realizing that Adrien was not that bad of a guy like she thought. -Umbrella scene, Adrien blows that girl away and she is crushing hard. It might be odd that Lila who now desires to demolish Adrien’s friendship with Chloé go to her by talking about Ladybug, but coming from Lila, this is perfectly logical.
Remember Oni-chan. They show important facts about Lila.
First, she tends to use others to get what she wants.
At the beginning of the episode, when Nino encounters her and ask her what’s wrong, she says she doesn’t want to bother Adrien to help her with her homeworks along with mentionning she doesn’t want Adrien to think she has a crush on him. This sets up two things as Nino is best friend with Adrien AND his girlfriend is Alya AKA Marinette’s BFF. One is that Nino will talk to Adrien and Adrien will of course accept to help Lila. Second and more importantly, it spreads around the (fake) news that Lila isn’t romantically interested in Adrien, thus making Marinette looks even more paranoid in front of her friends.
By using Nino, Lila manages to hit two birds with one stone than just by asking Adrien to help her.
Same thing happens when she tells Oni-chan the only way for her to sincerely renounce Adrien is by destroying Ladybug for her. Again, there is two objectives. One for Oni-chan to leave her alone, buying her time, and second, this now highly motived supervillain is set to defeat Ladybug.
Even back in Chameleon, same strategy is employed (but against Marinette this time around)
It wasn’t shown to us as we only get to see the aftermath of her manipulations (although they are implied). Lila is the one who manages to change the seating arrangements so she gets to seat next to Adrien and isolates Marinette from her friends. She takes action against Marinette because that girl tries to expose Lila as a liar as shown in Catalyst.
“Oh no, Marinette, not that again…”
From Alya’s comment, it wasn’t the first time Marinette was trying to find holes in Lila’s stories. And Lila has enough and decided to put her in her place either by making her submit or by making her lose all of her friends.
Lila only resorts to direct threats only if her victim didn’t fall for anything else she has set in.
Back to Oni-chan, Lila will make use of any information she can get her hand on. When she asks Adrien what was his worst grade, she uses his answer later on Nathalie.
Lila : See? You’ll never know until you ask nicely.
Adrien : You didn’t ask nicely. You lied, Lila.
Lila : You told me yourself that A- in math was your worst grade, didn’t you?
Another thing that is presented to us is that Lila has noticed Adrien still is fan of Ladybug by the pictures of her he has stashed away.
And lastly, Adrien made it perfectly clear he dislikes people who are trying to hurt those he cares about.
“Lila, you can count on me, unless you hurt the people I love”
So there you have all the ingredients for Lila to cook a plan to make Adrien hates Chloé… by making Chloé attack Ladybug and maybe get rid of the superheroine by the same occasion. But for that to happen, Lila first needs Chloé to lose any respect and admiration she has toward Ladybug. That’s why Lila goes and make her believe about the magic formula, so Chloé who feels rejected/abandonned loses further hope in her idol and starts to hate her.
Now that I think of it, it’s terrifying how Gabriel exactly knows what idea to ingrain in Lila’s mind to reap the exact fruit he wants. It might be because of the fact he has been in Lila’s mind so often as Hawkmoth and how he is fully aware Lila never misses an opportunity that might take down Ladybug in the process.

Also, her simply being in the episode at all, TALKING TO CHRIS OF ALL PEOPLE (the Akuma of the episode), feels like some plot bunnies are being laid down
