Now why you may ask?

Because right before these facial expressions, Marinette was making a clear stand that she didn’t care about whether or not she’d get recognition, but she was trying to ensure that her friends, the group,  got the recognition they deserved. And Luka’s face, well think about it, on screen we can say he understands Marinette and that he possibly has a tiny (enormous I Hope) crush on her, but he doesn’t know her.

This Moment was like him seeing, I’m not gonna say another side of her, another part of her. One who puts her friends before herself. And dare I say, him seeing hands on her selflessness behavior, further pushed his Akumatization?

I can probably write more, but eh, also I just like the idea of Luka getting to know Marinette, and ,with each new piece of information he obtains, falling more and more in love with her… GOD I LOVE ANGST
