Petty trio part 3

Eventually Adrien slips up and makes a passive aggressive comment.

Realising pettiness is their in-joke and the three won’t be upset provided he doesn’t go obviously too far (e.g. dead mum jokes) Adrien starts joining in. He and Marinette sometimes pair up, with him providing set up and her the take down. Means he can say everything he wanted to without facing any serious repercussions. Especially as Gabriel is spending more time with people so Adrien is already winning.

Adrien: Today at school we learnt about the impact of abusive parenting. It was enlightening

Gabriel: Are you trying to say something about my parenting style?

Marinette: Wouldn’t you have to be around to have a parenting style?

Gabriel: Because she’s red with anger?

Nathalie: Aggression?

Marinette: Don’t you mean Agreste-ion?

Gabriel and Adrien: I have never been prouder.
