“I saw this in an anime once.”

Marinette glances up from her sketch book, dreading what her boyfriend was referring to.

“What do you…”

Adrien stands in front of her with a pocky stick in one hand and the opened box in another.

“…No.”

“I saw this in an anime once.” was bad enough. Of course, that could refer to literally anything. Lately she had been roped into watching Bleach, which was full of wild sword fights. She can’t imagine what they would be doing with the biscuit stick. Mock sword fights?

“C’mon, please? Just once?” Queue the pleading puppy dog eyes.

Marinette’s own eyes roll at this, but speaks in a playful manner. “…Fine.”

She reaches for one of the strawberry treats in the box, causing Adrien to shake his head.

“We only need one.”

Saying this, he places one tip between his lips, urging his girlfriend to do the same. Finally the motive behind it all seems to show itself to Marinette. A dark blush quickly covers her face.

“A-alright.”

The strawberry was sweet, but not too sweet. The pair takes small bites, getting closer and closer to each other. Adrien closes his eyes and she has to restrain nervous giggles. Eventually they get close enough for their lips to touch, both halting in their places so they made the slightest contact possible.

“…”

Marinette blinks her eyes open, pulling back slightly while she swallows the biscuit in her mouth. After that, she presses another, firmer kiss to the blond’s lips. He eagerly responds by wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her close. They share a few more smooches, each one shorter than the last since they both erupt in a fit of giggles.

“I guess that was pretty sweet, huh?” Adrien grins, biting back laughter.

The girl puffs her cheeks out, furrowing her eyebrows as she playfully jabs his shoulder. “Yeah, sure.”
