I don't really think Chloé is using Adrien for money since her dad is rich and more than willing to buy her anything she wants. If she's using him for anything it's probably something along the lines of being able to brag "guess who has a rich, super model boyfriend? Me!" And of course the status that comes with it.

i initially thought that too, but she did specifically mention he was rich when showing off to ladybug about him!
it’s not that chloé needs the money; it’s more like a business deal to make herself even wealthier, just in case. if she has two financial cushions to fall back on when she grows up, that makes her lifestyle even more secure than having just one; no matter how endless the supply is.
there’s the factor of social standing, too; and it also means she wouldn’t have to rely on her father forever - as much as he adores her there might be a cutoff point where he expects her to start working on her own, or she doesn’t want to be daddy’s little girl all her life but also doesn’t want to lose the comforts that come with it. if she gets with adrien and has access to his money too, she can be as independent from her family as she likes and ensure she never has to work at anything she doesn’t want to.
it helps that adrien is really cute, and famous, and popular with a lot of other girls chloé could totally crush by dating him. he’s also very sweet and gentle and easy to manipulate (from what we’ve seen so far, anyway) - there’s literally no down side to him; no wonder she’s so keen!
I feel you can also see how not only does she wants to use “this cute rich person is my boyfriend” to impress people but also that Ladybug is a person Chloè wants to impress. We’ve already seen how high above others Chloè thinks herself to be, obviously she thinks she’s above Cat Noir (CHAT NOIR A SUPER HERO) to make him do her homework. Chloè may be snooty and arogant even around ladybug, but around her it almost feels like she’s putting up more of a facade than she usually might. The admiration Chloè has for Ladybug, I feel, runs pretty deep and I hope the show delves deeper into it. (and I basically want Chloè to be crushing on Ladybug, but hey I’ll take a real relatable relationship over nothing)

Question for the Miraculous Fandom
k so i’ve watched episodes 1-10 so far through @mlsubbing, but how many more episodes are there after that? I keep seeing things about a new hero called Volpina, a possible beach episode and now everyone’s freaking out about Adrien’s mom? Could someone clear this up for me and possibly send me a link to these episodes if they’re available? I know a new episode airs tomorrow morning in France on TFOU, but i’m not sure how far they are in the show and i’d prefer to watch it in order if possible.

There are 29 episodes in total for the first season (future seasons come if the show does well) Thomas astruc in a recent tweet confirmed no beach epidose. Thomas has been tweeting little sneak peaks of future episodes. One of wich was of volpina who fans speculate to be different than the average akuma. Today there was (I think the last sneak peak) a tweet of Adrien being hugged by a woman who is obviously his mom. Ps the episodes don’t have to be watched in order so far Korea and France have released some of the same episodes but not in order and France has been releasing different ones that haven’t aired in kores. If you look up the blog mlsubbing they had a links to the episodes they have subbed in english. I hope I helped. enjoy the show!

Imagine that as a child for Halloween Adrien’s mother would always dress him up as black cat. From his first Halloween up until she “left” she would always force him to be a cat and even though Adrien said he hated it he actually loved it. And now Gabriel agreste is super against Halloween and his son dressing up as a cat.
