Tikki and Chloe in Kung Food? Adrinette date confirmed?

Tikki would probably be physically trying to stop Chloe from throwing things in the soup pot until Chloe unknowingly commands her to knock it off, which would lead into a full on lecture about how “WOW you are the LEAST heroic person, what is WRONG with you this man did NOTHING to slight you where do you get off?!”

While this Marinette wouldn’t have a problem asking Adrien for help, I can see her not wanting to inconvenience him so Alya would still make the call for her. So Adrien probably wouldn’t see it as a date, but an opportunity to maybe impress Marinette. And of course the best Adrienette pick up scene in Season 1 <3

I’ve finally figured Origins out so my next step is to make a time line, so I’m not sure if Marinette has the miraculous yet in Kung Food. If she didn’t, it could be a great time for Marinette the Hero Civilian to strike again, especially since she’ll have a legit reason to be there <3

She does (she doesn’t get as many interviews with Scarlet Lady as she does with Ladybug, but she gets a few and she still tries to get akuma footage)

Alya sees things fairly black and white, so as long as Scarlet is defending Paris, she’s on her side. Plus Chat is always 5 seconds away from detransforming so he can’t stick around for interviews, so Alya doesn’t get many chances to flag him down. It’s not until Marigold shows up to lessen Chat’s burden that anyone else has the time (or the energy) to give their side of the story, which is when people finally start looking at the other heroes. 

And when Scarlet starts getting jealous and shows more of her true self on camera, Alya considers changing focus to a more worthy hero. Marinette would probably suggest Chat or at least suggest she share the spotlight between Chat and Marigold.

Given how much of a difference the kwami swap would have made on everything else, what would change in the Queen Wasp scenario with Audrey offering to take Marinette to New York? Would Marinette be more willing to go if she isn't a hero yet by that point? While I'm pretty sure she would choose against it if she's already Marigold (because like heck she'd leave Chat stuck with Scarlet), how would she handle it? And how would Adrien react to the possibility of his one ray of sunshine leaving?

Since I’m using this as a chance to rewrite parts I didn’t totally agree with, I’d have Marinette be MORE hesitant. I’m like 90% sure she would be Marigold by now, and just because Scarlet Lady is around it doesn’t lesson her responsibility. Plus she’s 14, BARELY 14, she shouldn’t be ditching her schooling and her whole life on the word of a woman who’s proven to be very eager and willing to fire someone for the smallest thing. Audrey would NOT make a good mentor.

And she’d get more push back. Adrien wouldn’t be instantly on board, he’d try to be supportive and congratulate her, but one of his best friend’s leaving the country for who knows how long? AND he’s in love with her?? He’d at LEAST have the decency to look sad before Chloe steals the show with her reveal.

AND her parents. I’ve said it before, I’m glad she’s got supportive parents, but Marinette needs someone besides Tikki to be a voice of reason. They should be concerned with her essentially dropping out of school. They should be worried about uprooting their successful business to move to another country. They should have more to say then “Sure let’s all move to New York!”

And Marinette herself. Of COURSE this is an incredible opportunity, but she should at least CONSIDER leaving her home and country and FRIENDS behind, never mind her superhero responsibilities. 

Basically this would be considered the big deal that the show sHOULD have treated it as.

The Vanisher might get a whole new identity (Sabrina might turn into a new akuma) based on what I do with Sabrina, but I think so far Evillustrator is my favorite <3 Because I’ve pretty much on the idea that that’s the one that inspires Fu to give Marinette the Bee Miraculous, so it’s a turning point.

I don’t know about  physical smack down, but Sabrina would be pretty good at a verbal one. She learned from the best after all.

I for sure can see Marinette holding onto Marigold elements as the new Ladybug, especially if she’s going to reveal to the public that she was in fact previously Marigold. 

She’ll probably get a Ladybug Makeover since she’ll have time to think over her suit design instead of diving headfirst terrified like in canon.

See, that could be for an interesting episode, seeing Queen Bee have to save Marinette or her other classmates, but without them knowing it’s Chloe. Her having to put on a front to still present herself as a hero and put herself out of her comfort zone. But apparently secret identities are bullshit and they shot that down before I could even fantasize about it.

Scarlet Lady would probably go out of her way to not only NOT protect Marinette, but accidentally put her in more danger. “Hey Gamer, searching Le Grande Paris for Marinette Dupain-Cheng won’t make your robot any less of a design disaster!” Stuff like that, being offended when an akuma is more interested in Marinette than in her. She wouldn’t even bother with a super hero front with Marinette.
