i never thought i needed an episode about squidward babysitting pearl and wanting to have fun with her but here we are

sometimes i randomly think about this episode and how much i love it because (spoilers) this guy pearl liked and trusted took her to a party in the middle of nowhere and when she was in danger, everyone at the party ran away including him, and squidward was the only one to save her. squidward wanted to babysit her so mr. krabs can give him a spongebob-free shift every week, which made sense because he’s always pursued by self interest, and that’s why he wanted to make sure pearl was safe. but during the whole episode he was so sweet to her and never yelled or got mad at her. at the very end when he saw that pearl was really hurt by this guy ditching her, he genuinely cared about making her feel better so he helped her prank that guy. anyways the ending was so sweet and cute and really makes me wish there were more episodes about squidward and pearl and other interesting, unexplored dynamics!!
