apparently this post is about being gay but I really thought it was about always being very kind and dedicated to people who never treated you with the same value. And the crippling disappointment of knowing you would never be loved as strongly as you love, and that since they did not value you, they were pretty much guaranteed to leave you at some point and it was just a matter of when. And so every time you looked at that person, while you guys were laughing together, you’d be reminded that it was only temporary and that they would be gone someday, maybe soon, and the fruit of friendship would turn to ashes in your mouth.
