I don’t know about other people but for me I wanted to call him something beside Ladybug to avoid confusion when talking about him/writing fics and lady beetle is something that people in real life alternatively call ladybugs. I thought it fit pretty well and sounded more ““““masculine”””” I guess haha.

i also recently changed calling adrienne just chat noir to chat noire it makes things a whole lot less confusing now haha zealouspunster genderbend
