Actually I have this theory that Chloe found out the true identity of ladybug or somethin and was like super embarrassed that she’s been not only bullying this girl but also recently been completely burned by marinette (you have no taste??? Ouuuu) And cause Chloe can’t afford to be embarrassed with her status and reputation, she instead channels it into spite and thinking she could be a better ladybug than Marinette -> cue hawkmoth
