“Hey Azula, you’re a princess, right? Try this! I made it for you.”
Sokka glanced at the girl beside him, as he was fixated making what people called ‘flower crown’ moments ago. Uh-oh, that look. She’s definitely not pleased.
“Are you trying to mock me, snow peasant?!”
It’s been a few months since Azula was sent to the Fire Nation mental facility. Not that she’s crazy, as Zuko would say, but rather, confused. Most people would prefer her banishment over his decision, but Zuko would stare daggers for those who dare oppose him. After all, she’s still his little sister, no matter what she’s done to manipulate people around her with fear.
Okay, maybe not-so-little..?
How could a fourteen-year-old possibly conquer an impenetrable kingdom in a span of days..? When he, a sixteen-year-old, had difficulties in chasing the Avatar who hasn’t even mastered any elements besides air on their first meeting..?
Thoughts aside, twice a week, he would visit his sister, hoping that one day, they might get along each other’s nerves. Hoping that she will miraculously let him take care of her. Hoping that one day, she’ll be back to her self, completely cunning and brilliant.
‘All she does is stare at me as if she doesn’t recognize who I am!’
Zuko sighed. Maybe it’s time to take plan B.
If there’s anyone he trusted enough, it would definitely be…
“Sokka.”
The Southern Water Tribe ambassador grinned at the Fire Lord.
“It’s been a while, Zuko! You better have some banquet prepared for me y’know! I canceled everything to help you! What is it this time? Swordsmen? Kidnappers? Oh wait, we’ve been there. Uh ”
“It’s about little sisters, Sokka.”
“Oh, little sisters! I used to take care of Katara anyway, so it won’t be a huge deal wait WHAT?!”
Sokka’s eyes widened as if they were to gauge out of his eye sockets.
“YOU WANT ME TO BABYSIT YOUR CRAZY SISTER?! ARE YOU NUTS?!“
“First of all, calm down. I know that this isn’t an easy task, but I don’t know what to do anymore. I asked for your help since you have a sister too. And you’re probably much better at the job than I am. Azula and I, we’re–”
“I know what you’re trying to say Zuko. But the point is, what made you think that I could snap her out of her miseries?!”

Someone Was Completely Missing In LOK
All right kids, grab some food, some snacks, use the bathroom if need be, because this is gonna be a long ass rant.
Legend of Korra- while WONDERFUL and a truly incredible show, it only mentioned and answered a few questions about Aang, Toph, Katara, Sokka, and Zuko. We learned that Aang and Katara got married and had kids. Zuko was a great firelord and had a daughter and a grandson.Toph had two daughters ( though the baby daddies are not known) and has a few grandkids. Sokka became part of the council . Okay, that’s cool. BUT SUKI WAS IGNORED COMPLETELY. ZUKO’S WIFE IS UNKNOWN. ( we assume it’s Mai) AZULA IS NOT MENTIONED ONCE.
AND I AM FURIOUS OVER THIS.
Remember Suki? The Kyoshi Warrior? The girl who SINGLE-FUCKING-HANDEDLY trained other girls on her island to be warriors, defending their home from the Fire Nation? THE GIRL WHO BRAVELY FOUGHT TRAINED FIRE NATION TROOPS, JOINED THE AVATAR AND TRAVELED A WAR TORN DANGEROUS WORLD, WHO FOUGHT ON TOP OF FUCKING AIRSHIPS,HELD HER OWN IN PRISON, AND HELPED SAVE THE WORLD?
I remember her! APPARENTLY BRYKE DOESN’T.
Suki was so damn important to me, and she is totally left out .
AZULA WAS A MAIN FUCKING CHARACTER, A POWERFUL ENEMY, DANGEROUS AND BEAUTIFUL AND BADASS.
DID SHE HAVE KIDS? Did she eventually recover from insanity? DO SHE AND ZUKO HAVE AWKWARD REUNIONS EVERY YEAR WITH THEIR KIDS?
I just…. She was SUCH a great character and she’s left out like she didn’t matter?
And they don’t even tell us how Sokka died, if he did die.
SOKKA, SWORDSMAN, BOOMERRANG MASTER, IDEA GUY.
I’m just really mad.
