I feel like ep 14,15, and 16 orders’ should be reversed

So we got ep 16 first where Nino, Adrien’s friend, is crushing on Marinette. This means that these boys probably spend a considerable amount of looking and observing Marinette. Which will theoretically be the first time Adrien notices Marinette, even though only from the eyes of someone whose friend is crushing on her. He gets to notice her charm points and all of the good things because Nino probably gushes about her all the time.

But, then in the end Nino is with Alya instead. BUT, Nino now knows that Marinette likes Adrien. And thus, subtly(or probably not, knowing Nino) keeps dropping hint of Marinette towards Adrien. Which will make Adrien notices Marinette even more.

Then episode 15 comes, the gamer. For the first time Adrien got to interact direcly with Marinette through gaming. And while practicing in her house, he will probably witness Marinette being herself naturally bcs she’s not that nervous around him anymore.

Also, the hand thing. At ep 16, we see that Adrien doesn’t think that much about being in close contact with Marinette, because he doesn’t notices her as this cute, kind, bubbly girl that she is. Now, at ep 15, when he started (unconsciously) noticing her and knowing her, when the hand thing happens, he realize how close they are, how his hand is so much bigger than his, the flush on her cheeks, or how if he lingers a bit longer he might hold her hand for real.

Bonus point bcs he also get to see the happy, harmonious family he only saw in picture from ep 16, in flesh in episode 15. He gets to know the giant adorable fluffball that is Tom and the small woman with a heart as huge as the sea that is Sabine. He now knows where Marinette gets her kindness, her cheerfulness, and her confidence( when not around him ofc). He gets to fall in love a bit more with her and her family. Or maybe not in love, but just get really comfortable with them in the way his big empty house can never provide for him.

Then comes episode 14 which, for me, is the episode where they act the most natural around each other. No excessive heart-eyes, no stumbling over words, no over obsessions. Just them being friends that help each other and talk with each other. It’s because they have, at the very least, be comfortable around each other. Marinette no longer has his pictures up her walls and starts seeing him as this gorgeous classmate who is also very lonely and not at all perfect. Just Adrien, although she’s still nervous at the beginning (I mean, who doesn’t?? Your crush just come into your home to basically spend the whole day with you) but we see her relaxed around Adrien and just be herself for the rest of the episode. It makes sense because of the previous interactions she had has with Adrien that reduces her stress level to almost normal.

And Adrien probably has started to crush on Marinette at this point. Because he has seen her for her and realizes that this cute girl is so much more than the nervous, bumbling mess she was. That’s probably why when Alya asked him to help Marinette he immediately said yes, because he wanted to know more about Marinette at this point (plus, it’s considered a really huge deal in Chinese culture to know the members of your partner’s extended family, so, maybe he wants to know about his in-laws lol). And she doesn’t dissapoint him. She interacted normally with her, talks normally, heck, she doesn’t even freaks out with all the touching and the staring, while in ep 15 they stammered awkwardly when their hands accidentally brushed.

Episode 14 is the result of all the interactions (implied and seen) in episode 15 and 16. From how an awkward teenage crush developed into a (possibly most definitely) strong friendship. Well, there’s still the crush thing but it’s definitely healthier from Marinette’s side and much more exciting from Adrien’s side
