Thinking about the whole "Ladybug gets nommed and gives Chat a cardiac episode but then not really and then there are hugs and the fandom's collective heart explodes" thing, if this occurs before any of the other episodes chronologically, maybe this is the incident that makes Chat start to take so many bullets for Ladybug (e.g. Dark Cupid, Timebreaker)?

uhmm im not so sure, its cute buttt, to my belief, in those episodes adrien/chat was not as affective to Mari as we saw in the newest episodes (and this time Mari wasn’t able to speak fluently with Adrien again) yet we saw Chat smiling at her family picture (was it bc of mari of bc of his longing for a loving family? who knows)  Whats more, its more like Chat acts without thinking, he is willing to save his lady’s life even if he has to give up his. To me his reaction was more like “I thought I’ve lost you and I couldn’t do anything” but isn’t that a common thing to think when you are in love and your beloved one is in danger?
