observation about Adrien’s schedule, posted today: what if this calendar includes days of other episodes?
For example, in Copycat, Marinette gestured to one of the days as though that were the day she was looking at. What if other episodes are depicted here? Let’s take a look:
- Stormy Weather called off summer vacation. She probably did that on a day listed as a photo shoot in the park, such as June 8th. (That said, we would have to assume summer break is off the calendar - the break starting April 19th looks like a warm vacation but it’s in the middle of spring.)
- Adrien celebrated his birthday at some point. Surely Marinette would’ve marked it? On the calendar, there are two hearts: March 26th, and May 14th. What if one of them was his birthday?
- In Copycat, it looks like she’s gesturing to May 8th as the day the episode takes place.
- “Roller time” on April 6th? Maybe that indicates the day of the race between Alix and Kim?
- The contest in Mr. Pigeon took place on May 18th
- May 21st is the date on Alya’s blog posts in Pharaoh.
- May 18th through May 21st were the dates of the video game tournament. Remember, The Gamer starts out with Marinette saying that Chat almost discovered her identity that day.
- Dark Blade took place in the middle of the school week because the day that they voted for class president was the day after the akuma and the rest of the episode. However, all the days with fencing practice are on Fridays - perhaps this was a script error, perhaps, the people making the calendar forgot about this detail. The newscast at the beginning also contained the dates May 21st and 23rd (not too sure about the latter), which seem to be the dates of the election but it’s unclear how close those are to the episode.
Now, some other observations about the calendar:
- lol, I see the February with 31 days. Nice joke, Astruc.
- We really need to see Adrien playing basketball and speaking Chinese. (I feel like the latter will come in time, but who knows about the former?)
- Is the palm tree supposed to imply that Adrien’s going somewhere tropical or exotic for spring break? Does Marinette know where? Is it the island of Réunion, the ethnic origin of one of the PoC best friends?
- June 21st, is that supposed to represent a piano recital? Please tell me we get to see that.
- Adrien has written down that he has lunch with three people: Thomas (probably a shout-out to our fearless leader), Young Sun, and “Adrianaaaa”.
If someone figures out the latter two, could you please tell me? They might just be staff shout-outs but I can’t be sure.So Adriana seems to be a staff shout-out but who is Young Sun? - “Going out with friends” on March 16/17, is that supposed to be a special event? Will it be covered in an episode?
- April 13th says “date/outing with his father”, with a needle and thread. Do we get to see more Gabriel and Adrien interaction?
