This is completely normal!! And hey, practicing once a day (as in one drawing a day I assume!) is still daily practice! Yes the more you draw the more you improve, but you dont have to spend all of your free time drawing to be a good artist. And anon Im not gonna lie, when I get home from work some days art is the last thing on my mind and I push off drawing for days, it happens to the best of us! Dont worry friend none of this makes you a bad artist

Marinette didn’t know what was more surprising: Chat Noir being in her room or the look on his face. Chat normally wore a grin or some other look of carefree glee, but this expression was totally the opposite. He looked upset, even angry.
“Chat Noir?” Marinette half-whispered, still in shock. Chat looked up sharply, his eyes focusing as if just realising where he was. “Are you okay?“
Chat Noir shook his head slowly, and looked around the room. "Marinette, I’m so sorry. I don’t know what I was thinking. I’ll just go and-"
Marinette silenced him with a look, motioning for him to sit down. "Talk,” was all she said.
“There’s just so much happening,” Chat began, cautiously. “Ladybug, she-” He stopped abruptly and looked up at Marinette. “It doesn’t matter. These are my problems, not yours."
"Don’t think you’re getting out that easily. Something’s bothering you Chat, now tell me.” Marinette said in a voice that was both firm and gentle at the same time.
Chat Noir sighed. “I feel… I feel like without Ladybug, I’m nothing.”
Marinette looked at him sharply. “That is not true! You’re brave, and kind! You do things Ladybug can’t do, like your Cataclysm.”
Chat Noir grinned slightly, his smile filled with sarcasm and hurt. “Yeah, my special power is destruction. That’s really going to save people.” He kept going, not letting Marinette get a word in. “Besides, without Ladybug, I can’t fix everything. I can’t cleanse the akuma. I’d probably get killed within five minutes."
Marinette sat up straight, filled with anger. "Ladybug and you, you’re a team. She needs you as much as you need her, if not more. Don’t you dare think you’re worthless. The people of Paris count on you, and so does she."
Chat stared at Marinette for a moment before continuing. ” Oh, and to top it all off, the love of my life doesn’t love me back.“ Marinette squirmed uncomfortably for a moment.
"Maybe it’s for the best, Chat."
"Maybe,” Chat sighed. “But it’s so hard to see Ladybug every day and know that she’ll never feel the same way about me.” Marinette opened her mouth to say something, but Chat kept on going. “I don’t want to make her feel uncomfortable, so I try not to push it too far.”
“Do… do you know why Ladybug rejects you?” Marinette swallowed the lump in her throat.
“She loves another, or so I gathered.” Chat sighed deeply, settling deeper into the sofa in Marinette’s room.
“I’ve heard that it might have something to do with the fact you’re a flirt,” Marinette supplied, hoping this wasn’t a bad idea.
“A flirt?” he sat up quickly, his eyes burning. “I love Ladybug, and would do anything for her, but she doesn’t know me. She doesn’t want to. Not the me behind the mask. She says it will protect us, but if she just knew what was happening in my everyday life, she wouldn’t think I was acting immature or like a flirt. She would understand. Instead, she prefers to live knowing only Chat Noir and making all these assumptions based off that."
There was a moment of stunned silence as Marinette processed Chat Noir’s outburst. "What do you mean by that?"
"I mean that Chat Noir is the only time I get to be free. It’s when I get to act how I want, or say what I want without worrying about my father’s reaction."
"Your father’s reaction?” Marinette asked quietly.
“He tries to control every aspect of my life. He controls what I eat and what I wear. He even tries to control who I’m friends with.” Chat Noir refused to make eye contact with Marinette. “That’s not all. He’s not even around 99% of the time. He’s always busy with work. I try to get his approval, to get his attention, but nothing I do works.” Chat’s voice was getting louder and angrier. “It’s expected of me to be the best. To look the best, to kiss up to everyone, to be the smartest. Anything less than the best is looked at as failure and disappointment.” Chat Noir laughed, a loud, mirthless sound that was so foreign coming out of him, as he practically shouted, “And you want to know why? Because I’m an Agreste and they have to be perfect!” His look of anger quickly melted into one of shock, and then fear as he realised what he just said. “Crap,” he muttered, looking away from Marinette, utterly mortified. How could he have done something so stupid? He jumped slightly in shock when he felt two arms wrap around him.
“It’s okay, Adrien,” Marinette whispered, hugging him close. “You don’t have to perfect."
