Who would win?

Randy Cunningham vs Chat noir

After sifting through hundreds of posts.

I realized that despite the very different approaches the shows take.

The two shows follow a very simple formula.

1. Something or someone causing a person to feel negative emotions.

2. The villain uses this opportunity to use their dark magic to posses the person who is feeling down.

3. Hero/heroes would spend the entire time trying to defeat the person until “insert way to win” happens.

I would put Ladybug instead of chat noir. But to be honest. I feel this is the more intriguing match up.

Lets start with my personal favorite.

Real Name: Adrien Agreste

Chat noir is the holder of one of the two luck miraculous. His Kwami, Plagg allows him to transform into the legendary hero Chat noir.

occupation: student, Model and Hero of Paris.

talents: Fencing, speaking Mandarin, and playing the piano

As Cat Noir, he has enhanced skills, such as speed, agility, and strength. Like actual cats, he also has enhanced senses, like hearing, smell, and night vision.

His weapon of choice is his staff. Which he has mastered, knowing how to spin it, wield it like a sword, and take advantage of its duplication and length-changing features. To travel long distances, he uses his staff and its variety in length to vault himself.

His special power, Cataclysm, destroys anything that he touches with his ring hand, although it drains his power and reverts him back to Adrien shortly afterwards. If the item is electronic, it shorts out and/ or explodes.

He is durable enough to be flung from buildings and slammed against concrete without injury.

Weaknesses:

After using cataclysm he had about 5 minutes before he transforms back and needs Plagg to refuel. This happens often enough that he keeps cheese on him at all times.

Adrien is not a strategic fighter. he is a strike first ask questions later kind of cat. He is very quick on his feet, but he often does not think things through. Ladybug often has to bail him out of jams.

And if his ring is taken off, he transforms back to Adrien instantly

Now for our next fighter

The ninja of Norrisiville

Real Name: Randy Cunningham

Age: 14-15

Hair color: dark Purple

Height: Tall

occupation: Student/Ninja

The current Ninja of Norrisville. Holder of the NinjaNomicon and Ninja Mask.

Randy is your typical Highschool student with the weirdest Slang used since American Dragon.

As the Ninja, Randy is use to fighting, robots, wizards, and Stanked! individuals. (IE monsters.)

All of his powers come from his ninja suit.

The Ninja Suit is a weaponized suit worn by the Norrisville Ninja that bestows upon its user amazing abilities. The suit was woven from a Tengu’s (demon bird) feathers. It is fairly easy to put on, as once the Ninja Mask is placed on the wearer’s head, the entirety of the suit magically wraps itself around the user’s body.

It possesses the ability to bestow its users with extraordinary skills befitting of a genuine ninja. This includes heightened strength, agility, reflexes, speed, fighting abilities, durability, and materialization for combat. It also allows the ninja to camouflage, escape, or trick his enemies during a fight. The suit contains many magical powers and abilities such as Art of Healing, Ninja Rage, Earth Attack, Hydro Hand, The tengu fireball and Air Fist. The suit also can bring out objects out from the suit or use the object even without bringing up.

Not to mention he also has enhanced senses. Such as super smell, super taste , hearing and sight so long as he focuses on them specifically. Usually having to impair one of his senses to gain effect access to them. Also there is side effects if he over uses them.

It also has the power to control the tengu, but we aren’t allowing any assisting monsters in this game.

He also has access to a variety of ninja weapons:

Ninja Balls: Small balls the Ninja can use to fight his enemies, like tripping balls and hot balls.

Ninja Chain Sickle: A long chain with a sickle at the end. Randy often uses this weapon to kill multiple opponents at once or to use it against large enemies to hit them from afar. This is the second weapon Randy uses in the Title Sequence.

Ninja Eskrima: Twin-shaped weapon that used to block and counter attacks.

Ninja Kamas: Twin, mini-scythes that are used to throw against the enemy.

Ninja Manrikigusari: Twin-shaped weapon with a long chain.

Ninja Nunchucks: Twin-shaped weapon that is used for attacking long or short distances.

Ninja Ring: A disk-shaped weapon that is used as a shuriken.

Ninja Sai: A dagger-shaped weapon with two cured prongs helps to block, stab, and pin the enemies.

Ninja Scarf: The Ninja Scarf is similar to a grappling hook which the Ninja can use to swing from one place to another place, or to grab his opponent.

Ninja Spikes: A retractable weapon that can be used for punching, kicking, climbing, and sneaking.

Ninja Sword: A sword that the Ninja can use. The sword can also be dual used, using two swords at once. This is Randy’s most used and, according to S. Ward Smith, the Ninja’s swordsmith, his most powerful weapon if used properly. This is the first weapon that Randy uses in the title sequence.

Ninja Ukelele: It is revealed in “Ninjafan”, and he seems to keep a Ukelele inside his suit.

Smoke-Bomb: A useful bomb for the Ninja to appear and disappear with. Once in a while, the Ninja will have to restock them using the Skunk Pine

weaknesss:

While Randy has a ton of strengths he also has just as many weaknesses.

He is not a master of any of the weapons he possesses.

He is also very brash and very fight first ask questions later. He only becomes strategic when he is getting his butt beat. Usually figuring out what the Nomicon told him before actually doing it.

This actions have made his life very difficult, but he is still learning.

He can get exhausted. His durability has limits, as shown that he can feel pain if something hits him. Which happens a lot.

If his mask is taken off he is powerless.

conclusion:

Believe it or not, this is actually a very close fight.

The two actually counter each other very well.

Their strength and speed are very comparable, with a slight edge to Chat on his cat like reflexes.

Randy has good reflexes, but Chat only gets hit when he is protecting Ladybug.

Though I give my edge to Chat noir.

Randy is a capable fighter. in fact, there is no doubt in my mind that he would probably one of the toughest opponents Chat noir has ever faced. But the difference comes down to experience.

Chat noir is use to fighting people with crazy powers and abilities. He is also use to dealing with people who can think while they fight. Most of Randy’s opponents are mindless and rampage happy.

Not to mention, Chats, senses could counter Randy’s stealth. (not that randy had much due to him shouting EVERYTHING HE DID)

Chat noir’s skill is greater then that of Randy’s. Randy has talent, but he hasn’t fully mastered any of his weapons. Chat is already a great fencer, even being able to beat his teacher who has had years of experience.

and on top of that, all of Randy’s toughest opponents, Randy had help, so the best Randy has fought was rampaging beasts and robots.

Randy’s arsenal may have been massive, but Chat noir can handle anything the ninja could throw at him.
