We had to redesign a character at school, so of course, I chose Ladybug. Her outfit is cute and all, but I think it’s really plain. Like it’s all just one thing. So I added some stuff. I designed it more after a real ladybug which has irregular shaped, but a symmetrical pattern of dots. I added some white dots as well along with some blue additions to match her hair/eyes. Other than the superficial stuff to make it more interesting, I also updated her gear. Now she has 4 pockets. One set matches Chat’s XD. And she has two yo-yos instead of one. Hope you like it! <3

In addition to the whole episode 18 thing, I think episode 18 goes back closer to the first episode and comes before episode 17 because at some point, you see that marinette stops babysitting manon as she's not in the later episodes. 1/2

you could be right, but then again maybe marinette doesnt babysit all the time. we dont know her schedule! 

about the development of her character, there are some episodes where she is less mature (perhaps more cocky or more rash about her decisions)… but i dont think marinette has reached a point where she is “perfect” yet; in other words, her development is still an ongoing thing! so it would be hard to categorize this episode at a certain point in her development.
