Alya: Adrien, I need you to act as translator for Marinette!
Adrien: I’ll be right there! *Hangs up without asking for address.*
Alya: *Later* Adrien, how did you know where Marinette lived?
Adrien: …..
Adrien: …. *Remembers appearing at her front door as Chat Noir*
Adrien: *Makes up excuses involving knowing the bakery.*
Marinette: She wants my dolls!
Chat Noir: *Okay, don’t fuck it up this time, Chat.*
Chat Noir: Right, where do you live?
Marinette: *Gives address.*
Chat Noir: Right, thanks! *Runs off*
Chat Noir: ….
Chat Noir: *Realizes Marinette knows he’s been there several times as Chat Noir and Adrien.*
Chat Noir: fuCK
Soooooo accurate ^^
I’m screaming did Thomas Astruc just reblog his own show’s plot hole
Are we assuming that the episodes are in order as they are or is this the first time Chat Noir has been to her house?
I don’t know where Kung Food stands on the timeline so I’ll ignore that. But, in Marionnettiste, Evillustrator makes a reappearance. His episode definitely in-universe comes before Marionnettiste. And, of course, in that legendary Marichat episode Chat showed up at Marinette’s house and introduced himself to her. So yeah, it seems really weird that Chat felt the need to ask for her address, though apparently it’s a reference to Gotlib so maybe it was only used as a shout-out?
