I know this has been said a million times before but it’s true when people say better tools won’t make you a better artist.
Think of your paints, pencils, markers, inks, pens, tablets, etc. like knives.
A sharp knife won’t magically make you an amazing chef, it won’t magically give you the skill to make the most delicious food in all the world.
However it can make it a whole lot easier to cut a tomato… won’t make the food taste any better though.
A chef can make amazing food with a dull knife, because the sharpness of the knife (while it can make some of things easier) has no impact on the taste of the food.
And an artist can make masterpieces with a 20-year-old sharpie, because the quality of your tools (while it can make some things easier) has no impact on your skills.
The best and most expensive won’t make you a better artist. And sometimes they’re not even the best. Use the tools that work for you.
