Hello! I want to stay anon, but there is something I wanted to tell to all of you, since you are followed by many miraculers. I'm a miraculer from Paris. 3 months ago, I lost a friend at the Bataclan. It still hurt a lot. I get lot of support, from people I know, from people I never met before. These includes all of you. I saw all the fandom supporting messages, their art, for the 11/13. And it really helped me a lot. There is no word to describe how I felt. Thanks to all of you. I love you all.

You and everyone else did absolutely nothing to deserve that level of hurt and I still can’t believe it happened. 

I’ve heard some people say not to relate tragedy to cartoons (I remember the Hetalia support fanart after the 2011 Norway shootings got criticized by some) but in all honestly having an outpouring of support from a small global community you are a part of isn’t a bad thing at all.

On behalf of all the non-Paris miraculers I would like to say that we don’t care just because our favorite show is set in Paris- we care we’ve made friends in France (and all over the world) because of the show and we want you guys to be safe.

blue whales are the largest animal ever recorded, like you literally need to be in a helicopter to actually see one in from a perspective with zero distortion. idk i just feel pretty lucky to be alive on earth at the same time as them and they don’t even want to kill me. they just wanna use their toothbrush mouthes to filter the ocean of smol ocean bugs. they have communities and they sing to each other to communicate. work is slow im sorry happy friday whales r so cool

The first-known written description of a skunk by a Jesuit missionary in 1634 is my very favorite thing. 

The other is a low animal, about the size of a little dog or cat. I mention it here, not on account of its excellence, but to make of it a symbol of sin. I have seen three or four of them. I believe the sin smelled by Saint Catherine de Sienne must have had the same vile odor.
