Ive been thinking about how Raetsel knows Charon and Fakir in the first place and so far what ive got is:
-The only people who can leave kinkan town are those who weren’t born in the town
-Raetsel and her parents travelled to kinkan town while she was a child and befriended charon, they spend the majority of time together until they slowly forget they intended to leave
-During this time little Raetsel and fakir become very close, almost like siblings. She also falls for Charon.
-Charon realizes her parents are being taken in by the story and explains the situation as best he can, the two of them manage to escape with raetsel
-Raetsel decides she doesn’t want to cut contact off with Fakir/Charon and goes back despite the risks
-There was a point in which Raetsel repetitively attempted to do something about Charon and Fakir being trapped but this proved impossible
